Maria Riley–you can call her Riley–is a photographer and award-winning writer. She focuses much of her work on coastal street photography. Her images capture the wild nature of our relationship with land and sea, creating vibrant stories that connect us all.
Riley’s work has appeared in Oceans Magazine Tokyo, STAB Magazine, Downtown Magazine NYC, Everyday Health, Design Milk, Daughters of the Sea Magazine, CNN, AM New York, Kelp Journal, and Thames & Hudson Women & Nature book. Clients include YMCA, Eddie Bauer, Yacht Rock Charters, The Writer’s Rock, and Locals Surf School. She’s been a featured artist with the Women’s Surf Film Festival, DIFFA and Bailey House. A gallery of Riley’s surf and water photography can be found on the walls of Locals Collective in Rockaway Beach, New York City
