The Future’s So Bright

Great things are in the works. Coming up in the next few days is a candid interview with new author Robert Walker on his first published collection of poetry, The Buoyancy of It All. Award-winning writer Connie May Fowler declares, “The Buoyancy Of It All is fierce, not to be forgotten, for it signals the entry of a vibrant, fresh, and important voice in contemporary American poetry.”

I’m in the process of reviewing the collection now, and the first thing that strikes me is the raw, honest storytelling. As Walker reveals his struggle with sexuality and acceptance, readers feel exposed emotionally and physically, prompting a little soul searching of our own. With titles like Sacred Cows Make Fine Cheeseburgers and Mrs. Potatohead’s Uterus, The Buoyancy of It All explores life with humor, innocence and uniqueness.

If you’d like to share your story of trying to make it in the literary & arts world, email me. We’re all in this together, but I can see how bright the future really is.

  1. Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no back up.
Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?
